Four people are dead and many others wounded following a rampage by a lone attacker outside the Houses of Parliament in London yesterday.
The perpetrator began his tear by driving a Hyundai i40 4 x4 up the kerb on the Westminster Bridge, hitting pedestrians and killing three people before the vehicle crashed into the railings near the House of Parliament. From there, the attacker burst past security in Old Palace Yard and stabbed a police officer to death.
The attacker was eventually shot and killed by police. He was later identified as 52-year-old Khalid Masood.
Islamic terrorist group ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, according to a CNN report.
