CBC reports that Wisconsin’s Attorney General is appealing a ruling that overturned the conviction of Brendan Dassey, who was accused of assisting his uncle, Steven Avery, in the rape and murder of 25-year-old photographer Teresa Halbach in 2005. The case received nationwide attention as the subject of the Netflix docu-series, Making a Murderer.
