Authorities yesterday announced that remains discovered in central Minnesota are that of Jacob Wetterling, an 11-year-old boy who was abducted in St. Joseph while biking home in 1989, reports CBSNews.com.
Danny Heinrich, who was named a person of interest in the Wetterling case this past October, led the FBI to the boy’s remains. Heinrich is currently slated to stand trial next month on 25 counts of child porn possession.
