The Windsor Police Service has released the following statement:
The Windsor Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing woman and her 9 year old son.
Melody (aka Melanie) John, 47yrs, and Dennis Reilly, 9yrs, were seen on Sunday, June 6, 2016, at 11:30 a.m., in the area of Walker Road and Tecumseh Road East. Last seen in the area of Arncliffe in the East end of Windsor. They are American citizens.
She is described as Female, First Nation, 5’7″,shoulder length brown hair.
She was last seen wearing white t-shirt, gray yoga pants, flip flops.
He is described as a male, First Nation, 9yrs, fair skin, 4ft, slim build,dark hair, dark eyes.
Police have concerns for their safety.
