Police on Long Island have announced that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has joined the exploration into the case of the “Long Island serial killer” after eleven sets of human remains were discovered on a remote suburban New York beach highway beginning in December 2010, reports CBSNews.com.
An FBI spokesperson has confirmed the agency’s involvement. No suspects have ever been identified in any of the murders.
