14 people are dead and over a dozen others injured after a male and female suspect opened fire at the Inland Regional Center today in San Bernardino, California, reports CBSNews.com. Both individuals are now deceased following a shootout with police and a third suspect has been detained.
One of the possible suspects has been identified as Syed Rizwan Farook. Both he and his female accomplice were adorned in military-style clothing and were in possession of multiple magazines of ammunition. San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan stated in a news conference that an apparent explosive device had also been discovered inside the facility; bomb squads were called in to investigate.
