WOIO in Cleveland reports that Julian Hernandez, who disappeared from the Vestavia Hills, Alabama area in 2002 at the age of five, has been located safe in Ohio.
Hernandez’ mother reported him missing 13 years ago. It was suspected at the time that Julian had been abducted by his father, Bobby, who is now facing kidnapping charges and will be extradited back to Jefferson County at a later date.
A tip received October 30 led authorities to Bobby and Julian after a school counselor discovered the teen was listed as missing by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children while assisting him in applying for college.
